英语强调句可用it is … which…吗

大家知道，英语的强调句通常采用it is (was) … that (who) …这样的句式，一般认为不能使用it is (was) … which …这样的强调句。但事实上后者这样的强调句用法也是可能的，我们不仅在阅读中经常可以见到，就是在英美词典中也可偶尔可查到这类强调句式。如：　　

1. It is the chief executive’s opinion which is ultimately decisive. 　　

行政首长的意见具有最终的决定作用。（注意加粗部分的it is…which…）

2. In English it is usually the subject which determines the number of the verb. 　　

英语中一般由主语决定动词的数。（注意加粗部分的it is…which…）

3. I think it must have been that prawn curry which gave me the trots. 　　

我想一定是那份咖喱大虾让我拉肚子。（注意加粗部分的it must have been…which…）

4. It deserves attention that it is especially the verb to do which is often found in the active voice.

关于强调句用it is (was) … which …这一句式的用法，《薄冰高级英语语法》补充指出：“强调结构如强调状语则不可用which从句。”
