“in+形容词+ detail”的用法

in detail 是固定搭配，意思“详细地”，里面的 detail 必须用单数，并且前面也不用冠词，但有时 detail 之前可用形容词修饰，此时detail 也通常用单数形式，偶尔也可用复数形式。例如：

The likeness was perfect in every detail.画像的每个微小地方都惟妙惟肖。

describe in full detail详尽地描述

I have studied this subject in great detail.我已经非常详细地研究了这个问题。

We’ll talk about it in more detail later on.我们以后再更详细地谈论它。

He described the event in graphic detail .他详细而生动地描述那件事。

treat a topic in minute detail极其详尽地论述一个问题
